Hurricane Warning

I woke up to the sirens this morning. I think the bad weather's passed now, but I'm hoping no one was hurt on the way to work. [Most of the local schools closed down due to the bad weather.]

Gotta love hurricane season. :P I predict that the fall weather will be coming right on the tails of all this wind and rain.

Yippee! [<--not sarcastic. I think I'm actually looking forward to the cooler weather this time around.

I love fall, it's my favorite season. Boo about the hurricanes though. I've woken up to that siren once, it's not a pretty alarm clock noise!

It's a pretty common thing to hear in my neck of the woods during this time of year. [I live in the Southeast U. S.]

And I'd have to agree with you on Fall.

That's scary! We get earthquakes. I guess we all have our natural disaster zones. Ugh. LOL

I am hating life, I got about one hour of sleep last night, and my mom is coming over today so instead of trying to sneak a nap, I have to clean the house.

I like the dead of winter.

But the summer is nice too (Going on night ATV rides is the best)

You are right! Nevada to be exact, which was getting some big ones but has settled down somewhat in the past few months. *knock on wood*

My husband stayed home to help with getting the kids off to their respective first days of school, and I got a nap. I feel much better now!

Can't wear the corsets in hot, sticky weather. Well, I could if I really wanted to be that miserable. I'm counting the days until it gets cooler.
