I would consider it an oxymoron, if It wasn't so appealing to me.

Oh Xngy, I know I'm "all old and stuff" but I'm in no particular hurry to get my license. See, I only have my permit and for some reason practically everyone refuses to take me driving- it was my boyfriend's fault that I nearly plowed us into a curb pulling into Festival Foods- he took me onto Highway 16 my first time ever driving! My mom's new boyfriend says he'll take me on the weekends, though- yay! I'm kinda afraid of driving- I mean, you're in control of a potentially dangerous, mobile hunk of metal. That's a big responsibility, and a scary one at that!

And the significance of that is what? I mean, it's not as if it's my 666th post or anything.

Well, okay, Xng, I'll buy that. Sometimes it is cool when you somehow wind up with multiple digits the same, or like when I price salads at work and somehow three of them wind up with the same price, although they're priced by weight!

Well, is that better or worse than being easily amused and/or entertained? Sometimes on a summer day I can sit on the sidewalk in front of my house and watch ants going in and out of an anthill for half an hour or so. I can also sit and watch fish swim in an aquarium for quite a long time. Another thing that amuses me is this small whiffle ball on a string that my granpa has tied to a rafter of his garage so he can tell how far to pull his huge van in. When the ball taps the windshield, it means time to stop. When the van is out, I like to bat the ball around like a cat would with a cat toy- it's fun! Which leads me to believe I was a cat in a past life or something.

To X.
Don't be too sorry. There are much worse things
to do than be excited by silly stuff. Trust me I
know this for a fact.

Weird. My grandpa has one of those too. Perhaps it's an old person thing? Or maybe theres a secret society for grandparents where they swap tips on golfing and how best to get into the garage...

Maybe there is, ThinkUsInsane. My grandpa doesn't play golf as much as he used to because of his arthritis, but he used to a lot after he retired. Huh, maybe I should ask him! But maybe he'd have to kill me because he revealed the secret society- naw, Grandpa wouldn't kill me! I'm his only granddaughter!

I'm not an only granddaughter, i'm one of three. But my grandpa wouldn't kill me 'cause i'm his favorite. And us favorites get priviliges. Like ummm... ummm... Priviliged priviliges. Anyways, I figure i'd bettter use this thread for its intended purpose:
My views on 'goth': goth is whatever you percieve it to be. Unless it
disagrees with the other goths' viewpoints. Then you're just a damn
poser.

Yeah, I think I'm my Grandpa's favorite too, because I don't get into trouble with drugs and theft like my younger brother does- I'm the good one!

Reminds me of how most of my relatives think of me as "the smart one", or perhaps "the talented one" for my piano playing, but I feel that they also pity me because my particular branch of the family is "the poor one"- everyone else except my dad is involved in the family trucking business and live in half-a-million dollar houses, own horses, or some other sort of luxury.
