Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Wasn't entirely sure how. Everyone seems to make their own introduction threads but I thought this forum had enough threads and couldn't find a generic thread. Plus what's to say? "Hello. I am Corpus. Just having a browse around the forum getting some tips, etc. etc."
Not as interesting. Plus I wouldn't call myself a "n00b"...

I was wondering how long it would be before someone said something. Because I knew someone would. Does it really matter what I listen to? Even if you are "Goth" (whatever you think goth is anyway), you should listen to whatever you want, even rap or pop music. Not just gothic rock. That'd be caring too much what people think. Just my opinion. :-/

Yeh ignore them. I can't say I like most of those, but it doesn't matter.
Anyway, Basket Case is good.

Goth is not open to interpretation. It's a subculture based around a few bands.
And I don't think many people here listen solely to goth rock.
Although to call oneself goth I think you'd need to have a knowledge of and liking for at least a few of the bands.

Brighter than the Sun by Tiamat.
I really like the chorus of that song... The rest of it I could do without.
