Don't worry... I do that with some bands too...

Sidenote: I saw Iron Maiden live in concert a few days after my 18th birthday back in May. It was like watching an old concert from way back when they were first starting off. They still rock as hard as ever.

I rank Metallica, Slayer, and Iron Maiden about the same. They suck as music, but the CDs make neat coasters.

I quite like Metallica's first 3 albums. Their cover of Anti-Nowhere League's "So What" is pretty cool (though not as good as the original).

Slayer's vocals kinda piss me off but they're guitar solos are enough to keep me happy

Kerry King and Hanneman are really quite mediocre as guitarists...

Discharge when they became thrash metal is better than Slayer, at least THEY can say they were good once.

I hate Metallica. They bore me terribly. I'm not going to bother listening to their new, narrow-minded as it may seem. Their music just makes me want to hit my head repeatedly on various surfaces.

Their new CD is a steaming pile of dog feces. Not that I'm surprised or anything.
