Disaffected never said the hypothetical guy was a child molester, just a guy who beats off while thinking about children. While there might not be much of a jump between fantasizing about them and molesting them, there is a difference.
I'd been thinking about this a while back: can we have double standards towards sexuality? That is, if we don't consider homosexuality a disorder, how can we consider pedophilia and zoophilia to be? Acting upon the latter two is unacceptable, of course, as children and animals aren't capable of informed consent.

I disagree with that - I think there's a huge jump. We'll never know how many paedophiles would never act on their urges, but I suspect there are more than we might think.
