Writing to a friend, and about to make a hot drink, and put on another DVD (watching Metallica `Cunning Stunts` DVD, and their playing `Fade To Black` at the moment, one of my favourites) !!!.

Trying to wake up and finish my shift at the same time (worked until the 'wee' hours, and then had to get up and go back at it). Am trying to put a positive spin on it, though. Maybe my boss isn't a slavedriver. Maybe she just wants to help me make enough to at least cover expenses this month. Yaaawn. Yeah. That work's. In the meantime, just wake me up when it's all over. Zzzzzz.

I'm starting to wake up, but not enough to concentrate. Looking out my window right now at 'Rocky' my 'pet' squirrel. He's so cute. He's sitting in a tree under my window eating an apple slice. I'd like to take his picture, but he always takes off when I get the camera. Bummer.

I'm writing a blog post and drinking pink lemonade.

It's funny, I always thought pink lemonade would actually be more like strawberryade. Oh, well.

Sitting here listening to 'Bad Religion' and being bummed. I need to do some things today and I am literally trapped in my place. We are having what we call 'severe weather.' (Anywhere else they call this a hurricane). We have thunder, lightening, gale-force winds, driving rain, and of course, hail. (I'm hoping I still have windows left in my place and my car when it's all done). Oh, well. At least I have a flashlight in case the electricity goes out.

Nothing really, you're over your annoying 'I slide in and guitar solo, ow ow ow, ow ow, nyow ow ow pow' phase, now you just need to stop talking about loneliness and staring at titties. You can be pretty cool most of the time.

I haven't stared at tits in a couple of weeks, now I'm working on the loneliness... Match.com is not helping.

Well, Duane, just be grateful you're not here right now or you would be 'working on the loneliness' from the top of a tree. I'm listening to Three Day's Grace (I Hate Everything About You), and listening to cop cars, fire trucks, etc. going by because we are now past the 'severe weather' and into flash floods. (Gotta love this place. Now you know why we say, "If you don't like the weather here, just wait five minutes").

I am lounging ( but fortunately not in any sort of hideous leisurewear ) and I'm going to take the dog for a walk in a minute . Then I'll more than likely pither about all night until I fall asleep.

I love Jazz music, what are you listening to, and do you like Al Demola (brilliant guitarist) ?

I'm stuck on my economics prep. I don't like getting stuck, I just don't suit it.

At the time when I posted that, I was listen to some older stuff. You know, classics, like The Charleston. I have a CD that includes 30 classics. Unfortunately, I've never heard of Al Demola. I'm up for suggestions though.

I really like Earl Klugh though, one of the modern artists:

I'm screwing around online because sometime in the next four hours my rhetoric group is meeting on aim because they are incapable of actually setting up an exact time or meeting in person.

Also I am watching the craptastic movie Dagon on scifi
