I'd like to say the idea of getting drunk as an art form is the dumbest thing I've heard all day, but it hasn't quite been 24 hours since MistyMayhem said she'd be nice to Hitler upon meeting him.

Well, I apologize, the word 'intoxication' connotes alcohol to me. People generally refer to being under the influence of drugs as "tripping", 'getting high', 'getting fucked up' or what have you, rather than 'intoxication'.
It's still dumb.

Why do you redefine words for yourself? The only thing it achieves is confusing everyone. Speaking of which, half of what everyone has been posting here can't be considered drugs.
Anyways, I consume caffeine (usually in the form of coffee) everyday, and I drink alcohol (mostly beer and shochu) regularly to unwind.

Alcohol is to be used responsibly. It's not an art form. Anyone can get wasted, it doesn't take that much effort or even a brain to do so.
Sorry about your family Liusaidh, I've seen what it's like when my grandfather gets drunk and that's nothing compared to a lot of people.

I find it not such a great art, to split up into an alter ego and do whatever you please so you can get out of yourself and feel free for a couple of hours, until the next day your so messed up that noone can tell you anything from the pitty they feel for you, and you can't even blame your self cause your too busy blaming "your life" for what you've become...
excuse me if I don't see the art there, but please someone point it out to me
