hi everyone! this is going to sound totally lame but i'm doing a project in my speech class on the history of goth, where it started, the style, stuff like that. are there any websites that could tell me about this? ive found a few but theyre mostly the objective "goth is evil" shit... i'm stilll looking though. i need 5 sources so if you could help me with my fact hunting i would appreciate it so much!

Neat project idea.
Don't bother posting an introduction and all that if you're only here to collect information--that type of thing is more for people who want to join our little community.

As for the info itself, I would help you, but I can't be trusted right now as I'm extremely sick, falling in and out of delirium, and vomiting every few minutes.

This is a really old thread (okay so it is an old thread in which EPS reposts something from an even older post but whatever) but it may prove useful (I'm not really sure what your knowledge base is so it may not really hold any new info). Other than that I'll wait until my brain is not fried from midterms to post anything because I'm not sure how accurate anything I throw out there will be.
