A note about posting in the Literature section.
If you are going to write a really bad poem about suicide, or possibly rip off lyrics from a mediocre band about suicide, I have a request for you:
Before you post your literary dysentery about your pathetic "suicide attempt" because of some completely insignificant thing to happen in your peaceful sub-urban life, I encourage you, please make a second attempt so that maybe the the average intelligence of the world will go up by that much.

Bah. Atleast they are trying. The feedback they get from here might teach them how to improve. One has to learn to walk before one could run you know. I'm sure all the great authors wrote utter crap until their work got approved by the masses and everything they wrote got good.

I was about to say that I don't believe we should chase people away for writing shit poetry, only for being unwilling to take criticism on their work and accept the good advice they're given, while being courteous to those who give them advice they don't care for for even bothering to read their crap.
But even given the uncharacteristically tolerant mood I'm in, you're still a tool. Fuck it, I'm edging towards Joker's view - terrible poetry (by which I refer to irredeemable piles of steaming shit like yours rather than flawed pieces of writing) denotes stupidity, which is often the disease that prompts reactions like the one above. So I'll just drop the defense of truly shitty writers, on the grounds that art is truth. Ergo, if your poetry implies you're a dick, you probably are.

I don't just mean on this site, I'm curious in general. I just tried a half-assed search and came up empty. I was wondering if anyone had come across something that could be considered at least somewhat inspired.
