I hate my schools exam schedule. They feel that it is important for us to have all of our exams in one week, not really that big of a deal in and of itself, though most other schools seem to have a week and a half to two weeks for their exams, but on top of that they feel that it is necessary for us to have a break in the middle of the week so we have no exams on Wednesday, most people just party on Tuesday and then sleep in on Wednesday so it really isn't a big help and it causes the exam days to last from 8am to 10:30pm. I really don't function well at 8am, this is why I didn't sign up for any classes that start before 9am but yeah I have an 8am exam on Friday and tomorrow I have one that doesn't get out until 10:30pm, so I can't even just try to shift my sleep schedule to hopefully function better in the morning. *Blah*

I apologize if this post makes no sense at all

There there, have a cookie to relieve your pain way back when, my sister borrowed a CD from a friend... and we had a very cute dog that was teething and being restless... haha, she just grabbed the damn CD and poked a hole in it xD thank god the person never asked for it back.

The backlight on my laptop is acting up again, every ten or fifteen minutes the screen will flicker and sometimes go black for a minute or two. Its like a bad horror movie, I expect the screamer girl to pop up when the light goes out.

Arg my bio final was such bullshit. We had an essay exam, which in an of itself is dumb for an intro to bio course where there are about 120-150 students per section and each prof has 3-6 sections, but what really made it suck was how open ended the questions were (such as: describe the human body, describe cells, or describe the building blocks of matter) while still saying that we needed to go into as much detail as possible, and there were ten of them. Bleh my mind feels empty now and my wrist hurts.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you haven't done well.
But if it makes you feel better, our section has 260 students. Which isn't good because half of them don't want to learn.

While we have online exams, i find the essay exams much better.
We get our marks right away but with a price of not knowing where our mistakes are - which sucks because you think you did well and the mark turns out to be not so great -.

Count your blessings

My new vitamins make it look like I'm pissing highlighter fluid.
Not exactly a rant, but it was pretty damn weird.

I picked up an ounce for the holidays last week, but got sick the same night, and haven't been able to face a celebratory smoke.

It's looking at me... mocking me.

I have 6 pieces of homework all in for MONDAY, including a long essay on Twelfth Night. I suppose it's my fault for procrastinating all week. I can see this is going to be a crappy weekend.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can manage even that. I usually just smoke right through coughs and colds but can't even be in a room with cigarette smoke at the moment. It really sucks.

So I go to YouTube and search for the John Keats poem Endymion because I'm reading the poem and wanted to hear someone read it out loud correctly. How did I know there would be some obscure shit band named Endymion that would fuck up my search results and give me 15 bogus pages of possible videos?

It's officially my birthday and i'm drugged to the eyeballs on painkillers. My partners at a welcome home, getting wankered session with his imbecilic mates, so despite booking tomorrow/today off for me, he'll be sleeping for most of it. I spent my last birthday in hospital with 1 of my girls because she needed emergency surgery, so I'm thankful none of them are ill this year! Would be nice to go out for a few drinks tomorrow while my mum has the kids (decorating her tree is their treat).
I'm just feeling shitty. Feel a tad better after that little whiney bitch rant!

I listened to a mum on the phone to her boyfriend a few weeks back, bitching their son wouldnt eat his mcdonalds. He's 8 months old ffs! What kind of solids is this 5 month old on? Mine were all started on purée at 3 months. Milk just doesnt satisfy most babies alone for very long. I've known parents successfully give their babies at this age home made baby food with lumps in. Juice though should be very diluted and in a baby beaker.

Infants under six months aren't supposed to get anything but breast milk or formula. It's better to wait to introduce solids until 7-9 months.
Juice is nutritionally useless, fills babies up with fluid that takes away the desire to nurse, and is FULL of sugar.

I've seen someone give a baby soda. Definately not good for it but as sad as it is to state this, it made a funny face.

It's a new thing, trust me. Every year it seems they bring out yet MORE 'guidelines' for feeding babies. Most babies can't cope on milk feeds alone until they are 6 months old, but theres an element of responsibility in weaning them earlier than the latest reccomendation. 12yrs ago the age for weaning was 3 months. Every baby is different, and every parent cares differently. I dont believe in giving them anything other than milk or water to drink though.
