My introduction

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a student, so I don't get the luxury of having a lot of hobbies. But on my free time I love hanging out with friends, visiting museums and other places where there's art on exhibition, seeing movies, going to concerts, sketching out my ideas, learning about art, and of course listening to new music.

2. Where are you from?
I'm from New York.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I don't read much any more. It's not as important as it use to be to me. I think there are more important things in life. So I can't really answer since since i'm not really reading anything at the moment. I am perusing the Lord of the Rings series. But that's for artistic inspiration. I'm not reading every word.

4. What are your favorite films?
Altered States, The Fountain, Mysterious Skin, Doom Generation, Heathers, The Breakfast Club, The Matrix, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Punisher, Sin City, Reincarnation, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Phantom of the Opera, Children of Men, Art of the Devil II, Open Your Eyes, X Men, The Descent, Deathproof, the Heroic Trio, Deathstalker, Love Story, the Princess and the Warrior, Across the Universe,

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Never really thought of it.

6. At your funeral?
Never really thought of that, either. It really doesn't matter to me, I don't think.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Of old age, in my sleep, or by poison. By any means that's not painful, preferably.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Never really thought of that. I don't really care, honestly.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Including jewelry, I have a rosary(I love rosaries), a chocker with a cameo-style skull and crossbones, and a set of skull and cross bones earrings, that I like to wear with a tank top I have, that has these white skeletal hand prints on it, a knee length purple velvet pencil skirt-like skirt, and a pair of black, almost knee high boots from Demonia.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The innocence. Not really being aware of anything that's happening around you. Or to you.

11. What's your favorite band?
I don't have a favorite band. That's impossible. I listen to a lot. A lot of these bands don't really "go with each other", but whatever.
Autumn Tears, Dark Sanctuary, Lacrimosa, The Meteors, Switchblade Symphony, Moonspell, Christian Death, Flowing Tears, Rozz Williams, Diamanda Galas, The Plasmatics, the Opera IX, Cradle of Filth, Emilie Autumn, Dead Kennedys, Glenn Danzig, The Misfits, Kittie, Civet, Bikini Kill, Hole, Patti Smith, Breath of Life, Faith and the Muse, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Collide, Zombina and the Skeletons, Alien Sex Fiend, Rasputina, The Dresden Dolls, Moonlight, The Tiger Lillies, Nazgul, Emperor, Devo, Acid Bath, Malice Mizer, Superheroines, Paradise Lost, Grabesmond, Hagalaz Runedance, Children of Bodom, the Kovenant, Andi Sexgang, Richard Hell, Iggy Pop, X Ray Spex, Cindergarden, Adam and the Ants,

I just cut and paste from another profile I have cause I don't really feel like thinking about bands right now. It's my day off cause it's Yom Kippur. Some of these groups are Goth, some are not. You'll know which.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Uhhh well I graduated high school a few years ago. From there I went to school for a year, studying Film and Latin. I went from being a Film major to a Film minor, and having all sorts of other majors/minors, and double majors and minors, including Ancient and Modern Languages, Philosophy, and Psychology. I was going to work towards becoming a psychologist or psychiatrist or something like that cause I wanted to help people. But i've decided that if I don't focus on my dreams now, i'm not going to get a chance to when it's too late. So after a year, I decided to make art my main focus. So now i'm in New York, studying to be a fashion student. I'm in my third quarter. So i'm still pretty much a Freshman. More than likely when i'm done here, im going to either re-enter the school or go to another school for Graphic Design or Photography. Art is my main education.

13. Why did you join?
Well not like it's helped so far, except in finding pen pals, but maybe to find friends, YM, AIM buddies, etc etc.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female

Err....maybe i'll also add that I play guitar. I see someone else mentioned that in another thread, hehe. Thought that might be important. Makes me look all cool and artsy.

Hi Kaali,

I am new myself but welcome. Think it is cool you hvae Adam & the Ants. I am a big fan, especially the Kings era.

I know you said you don't read much , but you should read the Adam Ant biography. Really gives a different view to the whole thing.

Take it easy.

Great music tastes. I also like collecting rosaries too [Raised Catholic, with a Jewish father, though both my folks and I are athiest now]. My favorite is one I got from Ireland that is made of green Connemara marble.

Welcome.

Welcome, Kaali. You sound like me when it comes to the schooling. I'm going back for graphic design and studio art, and debating returning after that's finished for theatre costume design and set design. You do have great taste in music, though that's already been pointed out several times. See you around the boards! If you want to talk on a messenger just PM me or something and we can exchange names.
