Dont forget to have a ` professional set up` done on your bass so the neck will be properly adjusted for your new strings (ask to have this done when you get the `Bass Ass` bridge installed, and then the bass will be properly set up and the intonation will be just right too, and will play like a dream) !!!.
I was wondering if you were going to add new pick ups too ( Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pick-ups are awesome) ?

I can play certain songs on the piano... including the star wars theme.
I also took lessons for the guitar and flute, but I only remember a few things. I was fairly good on all but best on flute.

I don't have sheet music for it, it was programmed into my keyboard as a tutorial. It's the part that goes do do! dododo do do! The main theme... But no I don't have the Imperial March as a tutorial. Wish I did though.

I'm aware.. I'm getting the equipment [DR MM45 fat beam strings, Badass II Bridge, Fender P Bass '61 pickups]
And letting the team at guitar center take care of it. :P

Beo, I was playing all the basses they had at guitar center I immediately fell in love with the deluxe active jazz bass. after seeing the price tag, however, With shaky arms I put it back lol

Was that a Fender USA Jazz Deluxe (what does it look like, and what did it play like ?) , which might explain the price ?
Ive recently fallen in love with this Dean Razorback , which I`m saving up for, as it plays so beautifully and sounds so awesome (the neck is incredible on it) !!!.

I went to the bank to see if I could afford it, as it was a really good price (Ł350/$700) and when I came back to ask if I could put a deposit on it, someone had walked in and bought it there and then (while I was at the bank) !!!.
Rickenbacker 4000 series have such a distinctive sound and are so easy to play because of the neck profile on them , and I would love to play on one again some day !!!.

No, just the deluxe active.
6 knobs,
high, mid, low, volume, shape, and balance
Had the ideal slap tone that I like.
I'm not a big fan of the razorback's body shape, but then again thats just me

Rickenbackers are good, but not for their price. :S Like musicman stingrays *shudder*

I was wondering what amp you use for your bass (I use an Ashdown `Electric Blue` 180 series (180 watts) which is an awesome sounding amp with a 15" speaker (could do with a 4x10 extension cab to bring out the mid and high notes more) !!!.
*wonders if lethean has got himself an Ampeg 8x10 SVT rig to cause earthquakes with*

I play acoustic guitar, but it's very difficult for me because I suffer from dyspraxia. I've pretty much always wanted an electric but I've never been able to afford one.  I sometimes wish I could play piano, but that's never going to happen.

Their are quite a few decent budget guitars out there for you to try, and you can get starter packages for the first time player at good prices , and that goes for entry level keyboards too (most of which have software and tutorials to help you learn how to play the basics) !!!!.
