The Upanishads: Breath of the Eternal - I don't know who wrote the original Sanskrit, but the translation is by Swami Prabhavananda and Frederick Manchester.

"Rhapsody: Child of Blood" by Elizabeth Hayden. I'm going back and reading the earlier books in The Symphony of Ages series before I start "The Assassin King"... I definitely recommend these!!

Still Dead Souls, but I also read Hamlet and Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen this week. (I didn't like it much.)

I'm now reading The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film by Michael Weldon. I've consulted this book for over a decade but now I'm actually reading it straight thru and listing all the movies I want to see.

Nah, read it. It's really funny and pretty easy, you'll probably whiz through it in a couple of hours. Just your standard Gogol stuff - like his short stories, only he brilliantly succeeded in maintaining the craziness for 400+ pages.

I read 'Ham On Rye' by Bukowski in one sitting yesterday when I was in bed. My sleeping patterns are fucked right now, I go to bed later each night and now I'm at 5am before I sleep.

It was great, but I still prefer Bukowski's short stories to his novels.

That's a lie. If you really didn't like Twilight, you wouldn't even waste your time on the sequel.

^ not true. I read Twilight, hated it.
I kept hearing that the 4th book was by far the worst, and just had to see for myself. Never, ever, ever again..... *shoots self*
The Twilight novels are fun to critique though..
I'm currently re-reading Blade of Fortriu, by Juliet Marillier. Bloody good..
