Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

They have many great tunes, but "In the Night" is definitely my favorite. Such a unique song with great guitar and bass complimented by spastic rhythms. "Hollow Hills" is a close second.

I haven't heard much of Bauhaus' music, but from the Bauhaus I have heard I enjoy Passion of Lovers the most.

That's doesn't matter. Third Uncle is also a cover and it's absolutely brilliant.

As is "Telegram Sam". It's amazing how they turned it around from a Bang-a-Gong-soundalike to a much more energetic song.

Hope.
It was one of the very first songs I ever learned how to play all the way through.

Ziggy Stardust, She´s In Parties, Who Killed Mr. Moonlight, Sanity Assassin. Fun fact of the day: Bowie has apparently said that Bauhaus´ cover of Ziggy Stardust is just the way he should´ve done it. That´s kind of cool.
