Black Lipstick
I think that, if applied extremely well, black lipstick can look wonderful on both boys and girls. If you don't have a black lipliner it's important to use a lipbrush. Unfortunately when it's NOT applied well...it can look..well, poopy. But I LOVE when men wear makeup!!! My gorgeous boyfriend wears makeup and it looks DIVINE on him!!!

I don't think it's great for an every day thing unless you have a dark complexion. But it looks good on some people.

I think generally no. I would never wear it but I don't want to say that NO ONE can wear it.
I have cringed seeing people wear it though. Especially if it's glossy and wearing away, that looks horrible.
I think rather than lipstick, putting black eyeliner on the lips and filling in looks better (not much, but still better), and at least then, there's no chance of it rubbing off and looking cringe-worthingly embarassing.

black lip stick ,well yes it dose depend on the person , try it at home if you think you look good go for it ,
a soft eyeliner pencil works better ,then a thin layer of lipstick over for the gloss .
lipstick sealer is also recomended , it is very high matenace you need to constantly reaply to aviod that horid faded out with black lip lines look

Depending on where you're going, the occasion, and the overall style of your attire for the night... It can look good. But sometimes it can look treachorous.

Depends what I'm wearing, but sometime's it'll look okay on me. I don't usually wear it. It looks good on some people, on others it looks.. not so good.

I was walking through the mall I live near today and i saw this girl wearing black lipstick. She must have got it right because she was absolutely fucking gorgeous, although she was too old for me (I'm 14 she was say 17-18). :crying in lonliness:
Like most others here have said it is good when done right.

It just depends.... I can't pull off black or red lipstick without looking atrocious. I just quit trying that. I use orange based lipglosses or like a burnt orangey brown color, sometimes just clear. It makes my eyes look darker and more devious that way.
I have seen girls and guys who look gorgeous in those colors. I guess you just need to find someone you trust, put it on and ask them what they think.

I'm cheap and lazy. But I found this at CVS:
Try Revlon's Black Cherry....outlining your lips with a black eyeliner pencil and top with lipgloss if you like shine. For a dark blood red, top with a dark red lipstick (I've had problems with just dark red lipstick alone turning pink which makes my skin look icky)
If a color you like looks crappy on you, top it with an opposite color that looks good on you....it'll better match your skin tone.

I voted over the top, just because of the fact that, unfortunately, on a grand majority of people black lipstick -is- over the top. Like the use of -any- makeup there's using and then there's abusing. Black lipstick is one of those things that is just too easy to abuse (I lump mascara and anything flourescent or equally bright in to this category as well, clumpy tarantula eyelashes and the clown look have never been appriciated by me)

actually ive become quite fond of putting a black line around my lips and then filling it in (as well as going over the black line) with deep red clour.
i never really learned how to properly use make up (mom used to tell me i was allergic) so i didnt know there were rules as to what can go where

Hmmm... I dunno
Well, it looks good if you get the right kind, then put it on correctly. Not like the freaky halloween shit that everyone does.

It's hard to say, some people can pull it off. I wore black lipstick all the time awhile ago (but i've since got tired of the look and gone for the dark reds), and it was alright, but I've seen it on other people and it just looks stupid. Some people can wear it, other can't...just the way it goes i guess

Red lipstick is a tricky colour and is best to choose a red shade that best suits your lips and skin tone. Not everyone can pull off dark red lipstick.

I though she had her own subculture?
Why did Tommy Lee have to date her?

Pamela's make-up is terrible. It resembles a disastrous pornstar make-up. Seriously, Paris Hilton dresses better than Pamela.
