Carrie, I finally saw it. I expected to hate it but I guess it wasn't that bad.
The end scared the shit out of me, I jumped about three feet in the air and yelled "JESUS CHRIST!"
Gah. My reactions to horror movies keep everyone I know amused.

The Wrestler. AWESOME movie - probably the best I've seen this year. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend you do, and I seriously doubt you'll regret it.

I saw Frontiére(s) the other night. Bloody brilliant. Gory films are always better when I'm stressed.
I was told to watch 2 films. 1 called Audition, and 1 called Irreversible.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. (Tim Burton)
Actually, I expected it to be a whole lot worse.
Johnny Depp doesn't have an awful voice, but he lacks range--whenever the vocals got too diffcult, he just made an odd growling noise. His character was interesting, but he could have played it with more depth, I think.
Helena Bonham Carter, however, was very good, and Alan Rickman was outstanding.
Visually, it was pretty stunning, and it was more of an opera than a musical, which I definitely preferred.
In general, it wasn't a bad movie, though, as is usual with Tim Burton, it does rely on aesthetics more than anything else.

I'm watching the one with Jack Nicholson (sp?). I fell asleep in the middle of it though because I started watching it while I was really tired. I'm going to watch it again today while I'm at the studio.

Slumdog Millionaire. Great film, but the ending was ATROCIOUS, so I'm docking two points for it.
7/10.

Casino Royale. Then I did a 6 page analytical essay on the opening credits, so it wasn't as fun to watch as I intended.
