Saying that I like it when they rummage about my sack just sounds tawdry.
Maybe I should say it more slowly.

I once had to go the school psychologist/guidance counselor because I had drawn a picture of Freddy Mercury with a pickaxe sticking out of his head. If you calmly explain that It's just for an art project or for a student film you're working on then they'll leave you alone. And anyway, most of school is just knowing how to play the system anyway.

In my own personal experience, most counselors are the failures and rejects of psychological "science" (who are in turn often the failures and rejects of real science). You have to be pretty dumb to get backed into a corner by them - people who talk in cliches are a piece of cake. You just parrot cliches back at them and they give you a pat on the head, decide you're not a bad kid, and go home happy feeling like they've touched someone's life.
Walking around with a death list in your pocket and crying hysterically when it's found is not a great start. Actually, you sound like just the kind of pet project the average high school counselor considers a gift.

Sooo true!
It'll be easier to play along their little game. From I learned just say you have the typical "I just have problems fitting in!" Then they'll be sympathetic to you.
Don't give them too much information.
I did, o man, They pulled out of class alot! It was enjoyable cause the classes were boring.
Also, be careful now. Smile and grit your teeth. I know people are stupid. II don't know what you did to anyone. But, you don't want get yourself into more trouble. Just be nice, as hard as it sounds.

Their ( counselors ) are happy once they can categorize you in one of their little boxes. If you confront them with something they haven't come across so far, they get all bent out of shape.

Its probably a good thing this hasn't happened in our school, it would certainly not go over well. And the small size would guarantee that everyone would know what happened within the hour.
"K, we r just checkin 2 make sure dat u will not kill pplz."
Such ignorance in the world, and unfortunately as long as you are on school property the contents of your backpack, locker, or vehicle (if parked on school property) can be searched without anyone giving consent.

It sucks, but if kids will keep doing this shit, they'll keep looking to weed out the warning signs. It's a natural reaction.

^very much agreed^
Schools are either a government institution or private, meaning either way, you have to knuckle under if you want to get the education they have to offer. Not saying it is ideal, but Apathy's Child's point is solid- recent history of school violence and shootings make the administrations nervous.
It is as much a legal liability issue as it is an ethical one. Now that there have been mutterings about suing districts that fail to provide a safe academic environment, more people are stepping up to the plate and making pre-emptive strikes. But for every sad sack with a "death list" they catch, rather- for every possible shooter they catch, pre-emptively, there's at least 20,000 that get the treatment unnecessarially.
Is that infringement worth saving someone's life on that rare odd chance of catching a shooter before they go a'shooting? Most likely.
It still sucks, though

Stop being such a whiney-assed baby and suck it up.
People are trying to help you and all you can do is fucking complain.
When I was going through shit in Secondary school, I'd have given anything for someone to help me if they thought that I was a danger to myself.
Take all the help you can get- you sound like you need it.

I should probably have put it this way instead: You quote other people's wisdom because you don't have anything intelligent to say yourself. Call it politician syndrome.

The best thing you can do is suck it up. yes i know it sucks because i had the same exact thing happen to me. act calm and collective and they will dismiss you as somewhat normal and not a threat. but if you keep breaking down like that then the will think something is wrong with you and keep doing it. try your best to be calm and this shit will blow over eventually. and remember this is comeing form somebody who had this happen to them.

In my old school people would walk around with fresh cuts on their arms and deathlists etc...and the counselors didn't even say anything. We could get away with most anything we wanted to
