Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Working on a respirator mask I found at my dad's shop. Its in my avatar picture. Not done yet, I just messed with it for 20 minutes before the club and wore it out . Still need to paint it, and do some other stuff to it. But I wanted something new to wear. I also made the shirt I'm wearing in that photo. Cant see it, but it has different size O rings with Spikes in the middle of them, going down my back, kind of like crop circles. Lots of Safety pins.

Hmm...
I'm getting a new 70's biker jacket after Christmas.
I say new it'll be secondhand.
I want to either keep it basic.
With a couple of patches/studs.
Or cover the arms, collar and back with studs.
But with a space for some form of patch in the back.
Anyone got any other ideas?
I'm not sure what to use as a patch on the back.
Or how to attach it to leather?

Patches are great on fabric jackets, but on leather jackets they basically look like shit. If there are any images you wish to have on a leather jacket I say paint them on. It's a lot more fun that way, too.
And this reminds me I have to post pictures of my leather jacket sometime.

Aah.
That sucks.
I might as well paint it on then.
I do have a fabric blazer with an Einsturzende Neubauten patch I need to post...

Good work! I like how they still look balanced even though they aren't symmetrical.

Thanks man.
They were going to have straps on.
But I couldn't find any webbing type stuff that matched the buckles.
The pocket on the side of the leg is incredibly useful as well.
And they're really warm despite being incredibly thin.
I got the tartan when I went to Scotland last year.

Yer it's pretty strong.
They've been altered around the crotch since they were first made.
I had to add an insert as the fabric wasn't as stretchy as we though.
And ripped when i squatted down.
Haha!
They don't have belt loops, I meant to put some on but couldn't be bothered in the end.

Why are your avatars so similar one to each other?
Judging from your signatures, I surely have missed something while I wasn't here.

Made them from scratch man.
I got the tartan when I went to Scotland.
I wanted a pair for ages and refused to wear any Tiger Of London shit.
So I thought, "fuck it" and made a pair using a trousers pattern my mum has.
