I am a bit curious as to who is this "we", I was lead to believe gnet was being run by one person.

Actually, several people take on administrative roles. Does it matter to you?

I suppose a little. In the almost two years I've been here you can't help but wonder how the management of gnet works. I doubt anyone can deny that such curiosity is justified.
But this brings up an interesting thought, we keep asking our newer members to make an introduction post so we can know more about them. Yet there is no really established thread for us to know anything about the infamous "Gothic.net". Do you like video games? what are your favorite outfits? Where are you from? But considering you are multiple people maybe each one of you could post info about yourselves.

This is an interesting train of thought: company CEOs and other executive staff members are not only published but marketed. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates etc. It would be interesting to see a "Staff" link or "About us" link like other companies with a web presence. On the other hand, I can think of no better way of avoiding having one's photo or avatar used as a plaything or dartboard by the more vindictive members.

Well while photos or avatars would be nice, words would suffice for me.

In the end, having known moderators and such did not work out.

Hey Gnet, Did you deactivate URL's, because I noticed none of them are working. Including the one in your siggy.

I think the clock is getting a little ahead of time again, it is only about 2 min fast so no real biggie but I don't know if maybe the timing is off in a way that would make it get progressively worse or something.

It looks like attempts by new members to join are refused with a message that no new members are being accepted? Closing the doors temporarily to stave off bots?

Not that I don't like Gnet the way it is, and I know there are dedicated sites out there for this kind of thing, but I would like to see a 'Tech' type section here.
A place where we can talk rap a bit about computers,
non clothing DIY projects, car stuff, audio equipment. Stuff like that.
A Gnet 'Instructables' would be cool.
