Okay I'm beginning to see a pattern here. The younger users are naming some pretty shite bands and songs and not realizing what a guitar solo sounds like. There really aren't enough new bands that utilize the technique, so this is understandable.

If you are under 25 years of age I recommend you buy the entire King Diamond discography, stat, and become familiar with the Godliness of Andy LaRocque. Immediately. If you don't do this, you have no passion for guitar solos and need to fuck off.

hey any song i mentioned has a gr8 guitar solo .. you can't say no .. and no i'm not just mentioning bands names like you said .. PS: November rain has a master-piece guitar solo .. slash in the desert god it's good .. and again on the piano .. so for you who think i'm just naming bands you can get some music education and respect for other music taste then come and write herE you ASSHOLE!!!

I actually prefer Slash to LaRocque, personally. Atleast if Laroque was the guy playing in that song... was it called "Welcome Home"? I kind of expect he was, since it was implied.
