Man, I haven't played any of the games since Red/Blue and then Yellow. Pokemon Snap was genuis and sometimes I still whip out the old N64 for a good round of Pokemon Staduim, the original, for old times sake. NachSorcier, the Pokemon master of gnet

I used to love pokemon in the 1st season.
But I just lost intrest after they started adding new pokemon
But I must admit I am starting to get into Diamond And Pearl
( Love the theme song too : )

I still enjoy Pokemon, purchased Diamond as well.
I remember the good ol elementary days...
My Holographic Charizard kept getting stolen,

I have never heard of gastly using any attack of the sort. It's attacks are all ghost type or psychic. If you want a smelly pokemon try grimer.

The "cloaking" mentioned in the Pokedex refers (inaccurately) to Gastly's Hypnosis attack, which puts the opponent to sleep.

NOSTALGIA TIME. I remember when i was little in the 90s, id wake up early in the morning just to watch Pokemon. I loved it enough to name my cat Pikachu. The show isnt the same any more. Ash sounds like a heavy smoker!

when I was 10, I loved pokemon. I played the card game at school; everyone had the cards and the gameboy games, so we used to battle, till the teachers took away our gameboys. Sometimes, I'll even sit down now and watch the anime, but it's not the same since the voices changed.

I also love pokemon. I remember when I got the red version on the original gameboy. Actually, I don't even think it was in color and it was still awesome. I never managed to get all 150 pokemon., but i got close... I guess being a pokemon master wasn't for me. As for the show, when Misty and Brock were Ash's companions it was ok, but after they started leaving it got seriously lame.

Reviving this thread to say that the release of Pokémon: Platinum occurred yesterday. Anyone plan on getting it?
I personally stick to Gen. 1 and 2 (although I have been blessed with a Gameboy Advance SP and a Leafgreen recently), so I am at a complete loss when it comes to anything Gen. 3 an onward, despite learning some stuff from Leafgreen.

I was with someone who bought Platinum yesterday and played it for
a bit. Everything just keeps getting better. Especially the graphics for platinum.
