Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I chose to not take it as a joke because the mood took me so.

I worked as a professional model in Malaysia since my sister runs an agency there. I hated it, but the money was good. Mainly just commercials, a few photoshoots and a music video. I was the go-to 'goth chick'.
In Melbourne I've done a few 'alternative' fashion shows and photo shoots for a friend's steampunk label and the Deviate Shop. No paid work, just helping out friends.
I've been asked to do a few 'artistic' photoshoots but haven't got round to it. Most people who indulge in that kind of thing seem to do it purely to fill up a few picture folders on their myspazz pages anyway.

I have considered modeling and I DO do photography but only with my digital camera so it is not professional.

I'd like to do artistic modeling.
I've had a couple of friends use me as a subject for their A-level courses but that's it.

I had a friend ask if I wanted to model for her portfolio, but I turned her down. I am shy when it comes to that much attention.
I would love to be a photographer, but I'm stuck with using photoshop to make other peoples work look cleaner. Or to get the effect they were going for that they didn't capture in their photo, if they ask that is.. I'll do it sometimes.

digital can be professional... just not with a compact camera. Although if your setting were 10MB per image your photos could still be of better quality and aesthetic in comparison with some of the stuff people who claim to be photographers bring out.
I guess it all depends on what you want out of it.

One of the best pictures I have taken with my d.camera is this:

And I do NOT care if people think I am stupid for watermarking it.

I'm interested in both photography and modeling but unfortunately have not had much practice in the latter...

I have done some fashion modeling in the past, but nothing serious. And some lingerie "modeling" for the boyfriend.. LOL
I've got plans for some band pics with a local photographer in the near future.. would love to do more.

I'd like to get more into photography and I am planning on doing a short course sometime this year.
I did modeling for an artist thing once but I kept my clothes on.

I did a charitable runway show back in high school that showcased local designers and then the clothes were auctioned off, I got to wear a fantastic gown by Wendy Pepper that I think went for about $500 (this was before she was on project Runway), the whole thing was loads of fun but I wouldn't want to do it on a regular basis.
I've also done a few photoshoots for friends but they were practice/portfolio shoots.

One or two of them were sent to me before they had been edited, and I never got to see the end result, so if you see some odd backgrounds, you know why. There are also some pictures from my very first session, so, um, letīs just say that if I had my photo cdīs around, those pictures would look tons better, but I kept the "awkward ones" in anyway. So yeah. Iīll post a link to my gallery when I get the photos from my next session.

cute
I like the first two, and the one where you are leaning against the door (your face facing the right.)

I'm personally put off by the copious amounts of blush/rouge that show up.
That sort of piercing is awesome, it's like a slightly more extreme version of skin embroidery...
