Sort of off-topic, but does anyone know how much a Blockbuster membership is? Does it vary from state to state?

I don't think Blockbuster charges... unless you do the intrawebz netflix type of deal they have.

SHOCK TREATMENT, the lesser-known sequel to "ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW".
The one thing I really liked was the original cast members returning to play different parts (sans Brad and Janet, and no Tim Curry).
I didn't really care for the plot. It made no sense.

Kung-Fu Panda.... so much more amazingly hilarious than I thought it would be...
"What!? Shevu taught you the Wu-shi finger hold!? You're bluffing!!!"
"Nope, he didn't teach it to me. I figured it out on my own...."
"Ska-doosh"

I was originally lukewarm about the prospect of going to see this film, as Dreamworks Studios has a spotty track record with its CGI-animated projects. However, a good friend convinced me to give it a chance and I was very pleasantly surprised at how entertaining it was.
"Ska-doosh," indeed.

The last film that I watched was "Igor". It was adorable, and I think that it would appeal to adults as much as it does to children.

Hardly long enough to be considered a movie, but "Tales of the Black Freighter."

I saw Crank 2 at the insistence of a friend over the weekend. I sat around on the couch after work today and watched Alien. The birth scene still bothers me. That's one way I *don't* want to die.

Earlier on the AMC channel tonight I caught the classic Clint Eastwood Western film, Two Mules for Sister Sara. Perhaps it is only me, but those vintage Italian-made 'Spaghetti' Westerns are eternally entertaining, particularly if they feature musical scores by the inimitable Ennio Morricone.

A fine choice, Saya. I confess, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly will forever hold a special place in my heart for its two iconic theme songs, namely, the title theme as well as the stirring 'Ecstasy of Gold'. Classic stuff, indeed.

I have The Good, The Bad And The Ugly's title theme as my ringtone ^_^ Probably the better out of the trilogy but A Fistful Of Dollars just makes me happy. And I have to confess young Clint Eastwood makes me swoon.
I'm about to sit down and watch Soylent Green. I haven't seen it before but I am to understand that soylent green is in fact, people.
