I personally would not sleep with someone if I know that they are sleeping with someone else who doesn't meet my standards, even though I would not have a problem with them having another partner who does meet my standards.

There in lies the crux of the break up, Solumina. It wasn't so much that she was cheating on me as it was an agreement, after a rocky fight that it'd be in our best interests to have an open relationship.
Thing is, the guy was a visual wreck and I decided that I would break up with her on the grounds that the guy himself was quite repellent to me and thus negated any desire I may have had to share anything with these two people.

Sorry to hear that you had to go through the motions about this, but it somewhat ironically reminds me of a similar experience I had, just reversed. I happened to be the one she was cheating for (found out after the sex) and then when I found out what he looked like I found her rather repulsive.
There were other factors but it was the first part of the cookie crumbling.

She was also pretty emotionally abusive to Kontan throughout the tenure of their relationship imho.
The poor guy's problem is that he's retarded attractive, and super nice, but still dresses all "Bad Boy". He tends to attract women who want a boyfriend to call them a bitch, punch them in the face, and make them clean up after him and call him daddy.
But he's not that guy. He's not a total dick, and so they mistake his kindness for weakness (because in their emotionally damaged-brains they have no idea what a good relationship is actually like) and things go south.
About a week after he breaks up with them they realize that he is a better boyfriend than they can ever get, or will ever get, and try to come crawling back to him, but by then it's too late.
I've seen it happen about four times now, and everytime it's the same.

I know 2 women just like that. Gets with a decent bloke, who treats her well, only within no time shes walking all over them, treating them like shit and cheating on them. When they finally leave her, she turns into a bunny boiler and goes on and on for a good year. They are leeches. Suck the soul out of you if you arent careful.
