Shade already speaks better English than 90% of my co-workers. All day long I listen to people say things like, "Why I gots ta be givin' hims more money for? I done did borrowed him eighty fie cent yesterdays." It's really no surprise that most American telemarketing jobs get shipped overseas when people "over there" speak better English than you find in Chicago.

Man In Room 5, you made me think of the expression "A whole 'nother." Its redundancy drives me insane.

The problem with it isn't redundancy, it's just a nonsense word.
Also, even if were short for "another," it wouldn't make sense still.

well, the "a" before the "whole" makes the "'n" unnecessary. When one says it, one is saying "A whole another."
And if it isn't short for "another," it's ....
Wait. Did we just say the same thing?

I admit that Tam really knows how to get to me. Wanna get to me? Just whore your entire arguments for the sake of being hypocritical and childish, lose the war, and win the battle.

It's a lame cliche.

It's a lame cliché, so you don't understand it?

Honestly, I was just trying to figure out what you were referring to with the whole "win the battle, lose the war" thing.
Sometimes I wonder if you take convos on Gnet too seriously.
