Would you rather play a game with someone better at it than you are or less qualified to play or fairly equal in skill? Would your answer change depending on whether you were playing in private or who would see you playing this game?

In most circumstances I would say someone close to my skill, as I play most games to prolong them rather than win. Once someone has won the game is over, so I will go so far as to sabotage myself or others in board games simply to keep the game going ...
