Hai there.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

Just graduated, so I'm currently "on vacation". I have a job lined up as an internet in I.T.

I like writing, playing video games, running, and dabbling in a bit of programming.

2. Where are you from?

British Columbia, Canada.

3. Who is your favorite author?

Just one? Books are my Lays, I can't have just one.

I like a lot of dark fiction writers, like Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Victor Hugo, Stephen King, Oscar Wilde, and Nathaneil Hawthorne. Also, I like a lot of political writers, particularly those who are left/anarchist (Proudhon, Kropotkin, Emma Goldman, and Daniel Guerin). I have a fetish for studying the USSR, and I don't know why. Finally, I have my geeky side with fantasy/sci-fi writers like Anne McCaffery, Isaac Asimov, and Ray Bradbury.

If I had to pick one though, I'd have to go with Douglas Adams. He holds a special place in my heart.

4. What are your favorite films?

I adore black comedy. Dr. Strangelove: Or How I learned to stop worrying and love the Bomb is one of my absolute favorites. The Addams Family, Beetle Juice, Monty Python's Meaning of Life, Penn and Teller Get Killed, Pulp Fiction, Burn After Reading, etc, are all great. In addition, Requiem For A Dream, Boondock Saints, Dawn of the Dead, The Exorcist, The Omen, I am Legend, Hellraiser, and Ghost Ship are up there too.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

Stars by Lacuna Coil. It has a special meaning to me.

6. At your funeral?

Darkangel by VNV Nation. Again, very special meaning.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

Having sex is first on the list. Masturbation would be second.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

A giant phallus shaped casket, so I can say I screwed the entire planet.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

Does being naked count?

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

The sense of wonder that came from not knowing a lot about the world.

11. What's your favorite band?

My other Lays. Who the hell can have just one?

I'm deathrock's bitch. I love Christian Death, KFK, .45 Grave, and Bauhaus. Also, I like Xmal Deustchland, Alien Sex Fiend, Sex Gang Children, Sisters of Mercy, The Banshees, Specimen, and Joy Division. Like books, I also like a lot of political music like Crass and Propoghandi (and a few Rage Against the Machine songs. A few. I know, I know, shame on me). Finally, I like a little bit of metal like Tristania, Collide, Within Temptation, and Lacuna Coil (One of my favorites), and a little bit of electronic like VNV Nation, Velvet Acid Christ, and Assemblage 23.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

High school right now, but I plan on getting a degree in either biology or writing.

13. Why did you join?

Seems like it's a cool place to hang out.

CrossDream, you seem cool. Your handle evokes 'cross-training' for me, which term means to hone one's body through various physical regimens, so I imagine that 'cross-dreaming' denotes the experience of multiple dreams at once, for instance dreaming that you're Sherlock Holmes and that you're trapped in Jurassic Park.

I do not recall ever having multiple dreams at once. I've been renouned for having a one-tracked mind, so perhaps that is why. Either way, thank you.

I only read the first few issues. I'm not a huge fan of Frank Miller, which is why I'm not a fan of a lot of Daredevil's stuff either.
