Hear, hear! For several weeks around the time of the film's release there was an enormous assortment of Twilight merchandise that confronted shoppers the moment they entered the local Borders store. Perhaps most irksome of all were those opportunistically published booklets purporting to be the authoritative tomes regarding the actors that portrayed Edward and Bella. Absolutely atrocious.

Twilight or Queen of the Damned - which is the bigger piece of shit?
Seeing as I have no intention of ever watching Twilight, unless I am in the company of like-minded acquaintences and with access to spirits, Queen of the Damned will retain its dubious distinction as the worst vampire movie I have ever seen.

Twilight because the cullens weren't even vampires! They are just Sparkly Fairies with Fangs!

Has anyone seen the commercials where they have the girl with her lips zoomed in on and she says 'vampire'? Am I the only one who laughs uncontrollably when that commercial comes on?

You certainly are not, though I also find I have the urge to headbutt her. Hard.

Hehe! Glad I'm not alone!

But back to Twilight, how do they plan to keep Robert Pattinson young for that long? I think he's gonna start looking older with his films, how are they gonna fix that little bit?

I've been meaning to see that movie, but still, there are some things you notice about someone even with cosmetics.

I had a similar opinion.

Ha. Better than what I was thinking. I had it figured that this Robert fellow was a robot from the future sent back in time to destroy Hollywood.

Frankly though, I don't want to see them continue with the movies.

I wish I could say the same, I have a roommate however who has Twilight on constantly with the posters and the buttons and the other merchandise targeted towards lonely single women hoping for Prince Sparkle to carry them away.

Sadly enough I was sucked into seeing it at midnight for the sake of my sister going... I should've never moved back home, then my parents couldn't guilt me into doing things for them... =sigh= I can't wait to leave again... I miss DC...

Actually, the books are OK. Definitely not the best ever written, but it's a cute story. If one wants unrealistic love with a happy ending, go for it (though the sparkly vampires are all sissys!)!
The movie, on the other hand, sucked. The actress who played Bella was a good choice, but everyone else pretty much sucked, and the experience did not get improved by the hordes of rabid fangirls in the cinema, screaming every time Edward was on screen.

Yes Bella was a good cast. Mainly for one reason, that actress has such a bitchy/whiny/annoying voice, she's perfect for the role as Bella, since Bella's character annoyed me to the 9 gates of hell.

Haha, yeah, Bella was really annoying from time to time.
Though, on another note, I didn't really like the actor who played Jacob. I mean, he was kinda alright, but he just wasn't the right one. He simply didn't have Jake's awesomeness (the werewolfes are so much cooler than the sissy sparkling vampires).

He's in his 20's. He won't change much in the next 5 years.

Eh...she's pretty, and sort of "average" looking for a movie star, but she's just a terrible actress.

Yes, I've seen Twilight, and she's horrible.

They originally planned on casting Emily Browning for the role.

She is pretty good. She was Violet in The Series of Unfortunate events movie, and she just did The Uninvited and I thought she did awesome in that. The movie was pretty chilling, and she did an awesome job in her role.

That's cool.
I guess she would have been better than the girl playing Bella now.

I don't know what happened, as far as I knew she was Stephanie Meyer's #1 choice... I don't like that other girl... I feel that Emily has this ethereal beauty to her which would just make her pop... you know? Maybe that's why they didn't pick her though, because she'd steal the show!

They're doing a Rifftrax of it? I never thought I'd say this, but I may actually watch it now. XD
