I assume you mean what kind of sushi.
I don't really have a favorite, and honestly, it's very rare I meet a fish I don't like.
In particular, though, I love eel, squid, salmon (especially as sashimi), and I LOVELOVELOVE masago.

Do you mean caviar?
You probably mean masago.
It's the most commonly used, as far as I can tell.

I hate fish, so before I was a vegetarian I wouldn't even touch the stuff, but then I found the lovely world of vegan sushi and i scarf this as much as possible. Me and the BF are scouting out every sushi joint in Southern California.

I had vegetarian sushi once, and in my first bite I put a lot of wasabi on it. I didn't taste anything else after that.
Never had proper restaurant sushi though, that was a bento box my university sells.

卵まきが大好きです!
tamagomaki ga daisuki desu! ^___^
I love the egg sushi.
In terms of general sushi I am not a huge fan because I don't really like fish but I'll eat it if I have to and I usually do get the egg sushi.

Octopus isn't bad, but the flavor is bland and it's too chewy for me.

I like raw octopus but not the cooked stuff, which is what most places have. I'm also a big fan of nigiri and there is a wonderful place near here that has a nigiri sampler which varies from day to day depending on what fresh fish they have.

See, I like it for just that reason. To me, it's like the bread of seafood. Not really good by itself, but useful if you just want to taste a sauce without it being overpowered.

Crunchy spicy scallop maki is pretty excellent. During my vegetarian phase, "Idaho maki" was always tasty, basically sweet potato tempura... mm... I may get some next time I'm out.
Toro is my all-time favorite though. As good as salmon is, toro wins every time.

Maguro (tuna) and all of it's fatty varieties (toro). Saba (mackarel) is really awesome. There's also this kind called kanpachi (not sure what it is in English) which is really good too (and expensive).
The only kinds I don't really like are ika (squid, it's really slimy when uncooked), and natto.

After taking microbiology, the only way you'll get me to eat sushi is with some everclear to drink.

I absolutely hate sushi. I really want to like it, I guess for its social aspect, but I can't get into it. I am not very fond of fish--it's okay, but I don't particularly like it--and I am very sensitive the the flavor of seaweed, which is absolutely vile to me. So, I basically just eliminated all sushi in two fell swoops.
Also, OP, how the hell did you make a thread with "sushi" in the title and proceed to write "shushi" every time thereafter? I worry your correct spelling was the exception as opposed to the norm.

The best I ever had was at a small restaraunt/cafe in Hamilton of all places. Fucking sweet chilli chicken mixed in with about 3 other vegetables...
I feel like some Sushi myself now.

Canned inari pouches allegedly have been sighted at my local asian grocery store. Must investigate.
