Mr. E: From what I understand, she requested that the doctor put that many in her, even though it was against the doc's better judgment. I don't believe for a moment that it was all an accident. :/

Actually, my room mate had a special on her on TV. She needed to be given in vitro and there were only a certain number of eggs. There was something wrong with her body or something... and she had all the last eggs after her other kids implanted at once because she didn't want to 'kill unborn babies' or some crazy reason like that. There are no more eggs for her to use, and on the special she said she didn't want to get married or have sex or something... and apparently she has a really hard time conceiving to begin with. According to her she didn't think she was gonna have the 8 because it was hard for her to keep the pregnancies she had before. At least that's her excuse.

I personally think that it was her's (and every other person/woman's)...choice to have as many children as they want...
But for it to be that many...when she couldn't take care of the first ones...I don't know if that was very responsible. But, whatever, what's done is done, and I kind of hope that she sees the error of her ways...or stops her fanaticalness (is that a word?) with having more children just because she wasn't "given enough attention" as a child. (Does she think that having that many children will allow her to give them the needed attention?)
As far as "forcing her" to accept the porn deal...well, I don't know about that. Porn from a woman's perspective vs. porn from a man's perspective are two totally different things. I think they were going to film her screwing 8 guys at once. Very scary from the woman's perspective, especially if she didn't want to "get married" or "have sex" or anything from the begining.
But whatever... rant over. lol

Thanks. Just my opinion, though. Trying to put myself in Octo-mom's shoes just to see how she might feel about having 8 guys at once.
(She seemed to be kind of fundamentalist or something...though I haven't really looked into her personality all that much.)

I don't have a problem with women who like big families, but I do think that when you don't have the means to support them by ANY MEANS then your children are going to have a harder time growing up and may not be given every advantage to succeed.
In my opinion, she is sick and her children deserve better the what she's offering to them.

I agree with that. But I think that the person was only quoting the highlighted part of my text. The part where I said that porn is different from a man and a woman's perspective.

Well the point you were trying to make was that Men and Women look at porn differently, and although I can see your point, I feel it's more about individual opinions as opposed to categorizing it specifically by gender. I've met some pretty spread and ready women, and I've met some pretty timid men. It's less about gender and more about the person.

Regardless I would never say to someone "You should do porn for your kids," and although I think she is an insanely dumb and irresponsible person, I think she's gone through enough public scrutiny and humiliation without having to show the world her grand canyon of a cooch.
Although maybe she should have a pokemon named after her.

It is pretty normal for more than one embryo to implant, when this happens that doctor usually recommends that some of the embryos be aborted, so yeah this was her choice.
She has thrown aside pretty much all offers of assistance that she has been given, including nurses to care for her children because she said that they were spies trying to get her children taken away by social services.

Again, it's based on a person, but I agree that the idea of having sex with 8 guys is a personal hell... I'm still working out how 8 guys would do her...
