Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Outrageous funky ideas for makeups.
I have my makeup routine, and do it every day. Foundation, nude lipstick, pink blush and gray eyeshadow with a darker gray in the crease. But I want to shake things up a bit! Does anyone have any suggestions for unusual, different makeups for me to try? x

here's a website to check out:
http://www.doedeereblogazine.com/art...keup-tutorials
some of these look like they are for the more advanced make up artist, but none the less worth a shot.
i have yet to try any of these myself, i hope this helps....

Try some silver eyeshadow. I'd look good on, well, anyone really.

You could try simply just mixing your colors up a bit and if you like that try something a bit more drastic. Like a different color on each eyelid with a bright blue or red mascara with brightly colored eyeliner.
For idea-wise, I hope this helps you some.

Colored mascara can be really fun to play around with, also look to a more adventurous lip color they can be quite fun.

A little pink eye shadow can be good. It would match your hair in your pic.
You can get palates of eye shadows in different colours quite cheap which can be good for experimenting. Natural shades are better for day time but metallics and neon's can look good at night for a more dressed up look.
Eye liner, usually black but can come in different colours can make for a more striking look as well.

The "funkiest" I ever get with my make-up is silver or metallic shades of blue eyeshadow. Usually it's just mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. I like to add little wings to the corners of my eye a la Cleopatra, but I try to keep them subtle.

Yeah, it does. Something about the nude lipstick, I think, ruined it for me. It just seems so BORING...

Very boring, especially when something as fun as purple lipstick is currently in vogue.

Thank you I will look into the purple lipstick.
I wear neutral makeup because My school kicks pplz out for wearing outrageous makeup. But I would like to experiment on weekends.

Nude works when you want to go for either a really natural or really dramatic look, but it doesn't really work for anything in between

I'm all about natural, possibly because my makeup skills are nill and possibly because I look completely horrendously disgusting with heavy makeup. You can pick.

Fyrinnae has the coolest eyeshadows on the fuckin' planet.
Their eyeliners are also AWESOME, especially the colour-changing ones.

Ok you guys get over it. I LIKE NUDE LIPS. I tend to put the emphasis on my hair more anyway, so from that point of view nude is good, so as to not make you look ridiculously made up. I want ideas for funky EYES please.
Thank you all so far for your suggestions .x
