I had way too much fun last night, I can't believe how drunk I still was when I woke up this morning. From now on I am not having more than 10 shots in one night, at least I still managed to remember to drink bunches of water so my head doesn't hurt.

Nice, Solumina. Try a Banana, it gives back the various nutrients to the brain that alcohol tends to wash away.
Or a big freakin' steak.
Either always works for me. What was the occasion?

Molly! How've you been? Deary dear it's been a while indeed.
Can I help you feel less disappoined?

I quite enjoy taking cars to the automated car washes. (I just got back from bringing my parents' car. It is quite peaceful and I like the qshhhhhwooshhh noise that it makes.
Yes... qshhhhhwooshhh.

A good friend of mine who I haven't seen in ages just got back from deployment, apparently we may be doing the exact same thing tonight but I don't know if I'm up for it as I am terrible at saying no to free drinks and all of my friends seem to enjoy buying rounds.

Deployment as in being posted overseas? Funky times...
However, free drinks do call you to duty, Solumina.
Where was he sent to, by the way? Iraq, Afganistan...?
Penguin, I also equally enjoy a car wash and seeing the machinations of things cleaning the car.

Ok, but let's break this down, eh?
Offensive, sure, but that's something I'm completely ok with.
Selfish? No. To call me selfish is just incorrect.
Unaccommodating? Once again, that's just incorrect.
Nasty--that's tough. I would call myself caustic, but nasty implies recklessly hurting people, which is not my style.
As for malicious...no, I'm not.

I honestly think I would mess myself if I found one of those on me.
I'm not really the type to scream and jump at the sight or even feeling of a bug, but I HATE centipedes.

I realized today that I never saw an actual photo of a narwhal before, just illustrations, so I decided to google it. I was a little disappointed to find out its not a horn that grows on top of their head, its a tusk that grows out of their mouth.

I hate it when animals bite me, because I generally end up killing them.

I just found an old videocassette with Sisters Of Mercy and The Smiths videos I had taped off of VH1 Classics from a while back...
That was fun while it lasted.

I'm ok with that, considering this opinion is coming from a person that doesn't know me at all.

You always make me feel less disappointed, love. But it's been a while and may be yet another.

Indeed, the unknown or unforseen circumstance make life's experiences take some time.
Who is CL? No names are springing to mind, although the words seem cryptically familiar...

Good-oh. I've never read anything of Emily Bronte's works but maybe I've seen it from the Monty Python "Spanish Inquisition" skit.
Either way, It's a nice little quote.

It's the line that endeared me to the book, actually. Juliette Binoche delivered it beautifully in an otherwise lackluster film version.

The Kate Bush song based on the novel is addicting to me.

Thankfully he wasn't in a war zone, he was fixing F-22s over in Okinawa (as he put it being over there wasn't so much a deployment as an awesome vacation where you still had to do a bit of work).
Turns out I wasn't the only one needing a bit of a rest so we put any further partying off until tomorrow and I am sure that we will have great fun and I may end up spending all of my money on mozzarella sticks.
I also found out that he is going to be stationed at a base pretty close to my apartment so I'll actually get a chance to hang with him down there.
