I guess the title should be "Norn Albion" since the thread's about me.

Hi all, I am Norn Albion.
Together with Malice In Wonderland, I am in 112 Ocean's Avenue (and I'm the one designing the site :P)
I'm 17, an MtF pre-op, and I'm going into computing with artificial intelligence if being a successful deathrocker doesn't pan out.

In terms of music, I like artists like KMFDM, Apoptygma Berzerk, Covenant, 16 Volt, Conjure One, and MC Lars. I want to get into goth rock/death rock, and will do eventually.

Other than that, I enjoy a while spent on the PS3 or reading a book (though I find it hard to find time to read books)

I'll fill out the questions later >.>

The last books I read were mostly non-fictional. Thrillers such as 'The Visual Display Of Quantitative Information', 'Programming Perl', and 'Predictably Irrational' (the last being a really good read for anyone interested in the psychology of marketing)

Fictionally, however, the last books I read were The Watchmen and Snow Crash. I like sci-fi

I shall now answer all the questions I didn't previously address

2. Where are you from?
Norwich, Norfolk, born and raised, on a playground is-

3. Who is your favorite author?
Neal Stephenson I guess, he's the only one whose books I ever finish, anyway.

4. What are your favorite films?
Too many to count, however the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Airplane, Kung Pow, Stardust, and Ghost in the Shell 2. I mostly like comedies, anime, and most other films. I'll watch anything once (Like The Evil Dead. Most wasted 4 hours-ish of my life, thanks Malice <.<)

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Aeris' Theme from Final Fantasy VII, or something equally intense from a Final Fantasy.

6. At your funeral?
Moment of Tranquility by Apoptygma Berzerk - I think it's really beautiful and tragic. And one of the few sad songs they did that wasn't dressed up as a happy song.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I'd rather not think about it

8. What kind of casket would you want?
A fairly traditional coffin I guess. It's not something I've thought about, or want to.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I don't have one. My FAVOURITE outfit, however, at the moment, is a short black dress with purple tartan, with black tights and a purpley and red shirt over the top. I don't have many clothes at the minute

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Not having to think about the future. That's also the only thing.

11. What's your favorite band?
I have more than I can list, although the main one I can think of right now is KMFDM (their most recent stuff and Hau Ruck are my current favourite music).

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Approx 12 GCSEs. A*s in Maths and German, As in French, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

13. Why did you join?
Because I got told to. Continously. For like a year. By Malice.

Check out Starsign for an excellent intro to Apoptygma Berzerk. They rock:

I used this song for my Gnet video.

Oh, and NornAlbion: your school interests, choice in music and Ghost in the Shell win you automatic coolness in my book. Welcome.

They're pretty good. I had a stint with them for a while but my attention span is really short so halfway through my AB obsession I said fuck it and got into Suicide Commando instead.

@RozzVanian, I'm gonna get round to it. There'll be (a) photo(s) of me sometime the week after next. Probably. I'm pretty camera shy.

I read a few of the first posts and saw this...

"""The last books I read were mostly non-fictional. Thrillers such as 'The Visual Display Of Quantitative Information', 'Programming Perl', and 'Predictably Irrational' (the last being a really good read for anyone interested in the psychology of marketing)""""

Good books.. especially the first one (I'm being completely serious)

Welcome to g.net!
