I just watched it for the first time. It didn't compare with the original because they cut out all of the songs. They didn't shoot my two favorite scenes from the first movie: the boat ride and the golden eggs. Damn them.
But, I did like it. Johnny Depp is THE greatest actor alive today(in my opinion). I liked the new stuff they added also. It was just different.
The original is better just because I am very fond of musicials. I can't believe they cut out the songs.

You can't call Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory the "original." Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was not a remake of WWATCF. It was based on the book.
The two movies are two different takes on the book.

During my legal test yesterday I had to write a 1000 word essay based on a case study provided.
Now, I must worry about my accounting studies...I hate accounting!!!

I whole-hearted second that. Besides, I like Charlie and the Chocalate Factory because it brought in Willie's past and the reason he made the factory to begin with, not to mention a better, more complete conclusion.

There's this redheaded guy who always secretly stares at me whenever we're both in the same computer lab. I'm pretty sure he's not shy but why can't he just try talk to me or stop staring in secrecy (?). It's so childish...
By the way, Redheads are HOT!

*shuffles feet* I feel like I'm obsessed with my fiance. I'm sure it's not too healthy but at least I'm not stalking him. >_<

I used to be like that. I'm still pretty shy, but more confident than when I was a young teen, so I have a tendancy to seem quiet to a lot of women. I only open up to people I've known for a while. Being a hopeless romantic sucks pretty bad, as that just doesn't seem like something women want. Could just be the women I've met.

I'm about to pass...the fuck out.
It's a nice feeling, in a way. Watching the room swim by in a most perculiar way. And what the fuck to THEY know, why the hell shouldn't I mix codine and liquor? It seems like a match made in heaven to moi.
Heaven I say!
Heaven!!!
...heaven...why do my hands have fingers? Why do my fingers have hair? Why does my hair...this is a random passing out, I've worked 80 hrs since monday, I've just gone thorugh an entire fifth of Vodka, three (maybe five) happy pills because my jaw feels like it was jacked the fuck up by Hulk Hogan (not nemore, though, for some odd reason) and I have three days till I have to work again!
Three days!
THREE GLORIOUS DAYS!
What the fuck was I talking about?
???
Meh, three weeks left until I can go home...three...
passing...
...passing...
...out....
...n...
...o...
......

Nice. Tstone is drunk. I may just have to join you in that man.
Except you know without the codine, 'tis a bad mix. The alcohol highly magnifies the effect. You aren't going to feel very good in the morning, except for the no work part.

I was standing outside of what I call my office, smoking a cigarette. I took a drag and glanced over the bunker that lurks only a few feet from the door.
Out on the horizon in a hazy, sand filled sky was a bright splash of color. A fluttering slash of red and blue.
Somewhere out there, someone was flying a kite. It was triangular in shape and blue in color. It had long red tails that streamed out behind it. I was struck dumb for a moment.
