Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

One of my friends sent me a British rap song; Love me or Hate me by Lady Sovereign. I caught myself singing it today..

Europa by the group, Globus. The lyrics strike me as a tad overdone and perhaps slightly clumsy, but overall the combination of rock with classical orchestra and choir is quite appealing.

"Girl Anachronism" by The Dresden Dolls. I'm ambivalent about this - the music's pretty good and I kinda like the overall sound, but the lyrics are shit-awful. Pretty good drummer though.

"Dr. Woofenstein" by The Damned from their new album. It's a really bitchin song. They played it when I saw them last night.

DUDE.
THAT SONG IS FUCKING AWESOME.
They played it when I saw them in December.
The backing vocals on the recording are done by The Gay Men's Choir in Cornwall or something like that.

I've got a mystery song by Calabrese running on repeat in my head. It's quite annoying, since I'm instinctively trying to remember the song title and find I'm unable to recall it.
