E-Cigarettes.
It has literally been forever and a day since I have posted. And since I didnt know exactly where to stick this, I figured that I would place it here.
E-Cigarettes.
Dude. This is the coolest thing on the planet. All the happy things about smoking, but none of the cancer.
I personally use a DSE-901 black with a blue LED. Looks like a sexy clove. But I get to choose what ever flavor I want. It is awesomes.
Other than that Hi everybody

I´ve never liked E-cigarettes. I think you should either stop completely, or not at all, but not do those E-cigarette things.

I made a thread about this back in November which has since died off but was quite interesting for me as I am not a smoker. Also welcome back it certainly has been quite a long time since your last post. I am pleased to say for your sake you can still find some fermiliar faces from your era here on gnet. I am afraid though that I am not one of them, I was back in 2005 completely unaware of this website. But again welcome.

Doesn't nicotine still give you cancer...?
And if you're "smoking" the ones without nicotine, isn't that just doing it to look cool? Kinda like not inhaling?

A lot of people get addicted to the action of smoking in addition to the nicotine and for many people the action is calming.

It's an interesting concept, all right, but I don't know if I'd bother. I guess if it could really reproduce the whole experience of smoking AND the nicotine buzz, it would probably be worth it. The idea just doesn't appeal to me that much, though.
Now, if you could get THC cartridges for the thing I'd be on it right away.

True, but only in immensely high doses.

I personally think that smoking is stupid, no matter the name of the Death-Stick or the way it works. I agree, nicotine is still poison. I don't see why anyone starts at all. And don't give me that about relaxation, you could achieve such a state of relaxation in other ways. It's simply a killing habbit with no true advantages.

I can honestly say that the reason I started smoking is... stupidity. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's a decision that I regret. I've been trying to quit. So far, I've been unsuccessful. However, I'm doing pretty good. I used to smoke a pack a day. Now, I buy a pack every other week.

Self-righteous much?
Smoking is about the safest thing I do all day, so fuck off.

Yeah, that was a perfectly reasonable response to someone stating their opinion.

Gagh.
I have to stop smoking. I wish I'd never started. It's worse cuz I'm vegan and smokes totally aren't. I went like a month, if that counts. I guess it doesn't.

On of the reasons why e-cigs are so popular is because you can get them without any nicotine, they have no associated health problems and they do taste rather delightful.

You can get them with or without nicotine, many people use them to help quit as you can get them with different levels of nicotine, starting with as much as a normal cig and ending with none at all.

The thing that puts me off the most with them, is that they can't re-create the taste or buzz of a real cigarette. Also, I think the inconvenience of recharging it all the time would seriously annoy me.

Those things seem like a waste to me. Even if the prices of cigarettes are going up I think I'd have more enjoyment out of a cheap pack of 305s' then one of those things. But I'm just stubborn.

I think e-cigarettes look rather stupid and I'm a little wary of the shit they might put in the cartridges, but inhaling vapor rather than carcinogenic smoke is a good idea.
In the case of tobacco, I personally don't get why you wouldn't just use nicotine gum, but I've recently started vaporizing weed, and I absolutely love it.

yeah, kinda interesting how these things get real popular just before the legislation banning flavored cigarettes is passed. Including cloves...
