off-topic: InvisiGoth, I'm guessing from your SN and tagline that you're a fellow X-Files fan. Always nice to see another Phile around.
On-topic: I think I'd like to be a phoenix... the whole rebirth and immortality thing. (Plus, I always used to say I'd die by spontaneous combustion, so that fits a bit too.)
If I had to be something non-mythical, I'd probably be a magpie. I horde stuff. Especially shiny stuff. Mmm. Shiny.

if i could be any animal i would be a raven. there cunning , fearless, smart, and of course they can fly. its the pefect package. exept for the fact the're as ugly as hell.

Hehe I have the same fever, I think I was a magpie in a past life.. I have a white streak of hair to add to that theory too =O
Though, saying that, I would like to be a giraffe. I have a thing for necks.. I have even started to be called 'Nex' by some..

For a none mythical animal i'd like to be an eagle or one of them tropical birds.
As for the mythical animal i'd also have to go for phoenix. It's simply the best choise. whenever there's something you don't like, you burn everything and you simply come back later. That's real fun.

Jack Russell. Breeder of small, snappy, randomly vicious little dogs (but totally adorable). And he was a vicar. Not the dog, obviously. Insert jokes about dog collars after the beep...
I'll fill in only if I get my own basket and a lifetime's supply of Winalot Shapes - especially the charcoal ones. They're yummy.
