It's my concern because it annoys me.
Hatred for mankid because your friend is texting you death-threats, therefore making the rest of humanity assholes? You're not doing a good job of proving otherwise.
Hatred for mankind is far different than talking to us as if you were some sort of god. Calling people "human", "foolish Earth creature", "lowlife mortals" etc etc. You sound:
a) Like an idiot
b) Like an idiot who's up themselves
c) Did I mention that you're an idiot?
d) All of the above
And he's just waiting for me. I'm sure it wouldn't bother him a whole lot anyway.

But it feels soooo good up there!

You're not making yourself any friends acting like this.

It sounds like role-playing jargon.

Why is it that so many people use ellipsis when they really should be using a comma? I'm not against the use of ellipsis by any means, I do use them rather frequently myself (I do tend to insert random thought tangents after all, my style of speaking involves a lot of extended pauses, and sometimes my brain just kind of shorts out in the middle of a post...and by shorts out I mean I see something shiny and get distracted), I just don't get why of all punctuation makes the ellipsis seems to be the most commonly misused...well possibly the colon...but still people need to stop using things that they don't really know how to use.

You know what I think it is?

I think most people joining goth forums and such want desperately for others to think they are gother than goth, punker than punk, badder than bad.
THEN they feel obligated to prove their gothyness by speaking in a manner that expresses pompousness, quick wit, elitism and a firm grasp of the English language.

They usually fail and the result is this.

I suppose you are correct. Maybe I should work on my puctuation. Congratulations, by the way, on your engagement.

I do not care to be anything more of anything than anyone else. It just seems to be that people somehow beleive this, because I employ use of larger words. I started reading at an early age, and because of this, I began searching for bigger, better, more interesting books. This made me come across a good many words, and when a word, or anything interests me (or I do not understand it, either way...) I tend to delve deeper, and learn.

I don't remember posting anything that said: "Hi, I am Wyntre, and I want friends."

So, once again, No one asked you.

a) It's believe, not beleive, Mr Oh-So-Superior-With-Words.
b) If this is true then you sound like an idiot in real life too.

"...a good many words", nice.

I don't expect that I have good grammar skills, but this stuff sounds fairly wrong to me.

EDIT: Dear God, reading back I hate the way you say "e-<word>". It's like adding "Mc-" on to any item of food at a McDonalds restaurant.

You joined a forum to meet people, that implies you're seeking friendship to some degree. For such a well read person, you don't seem to be too proficient in the art of written communication, not even with the all those "big words" you discovered.

I'm sure Needlefeet will be more than happy to ask me for my own opinion if it really is that big of a deal.

As long as it's against Wyntre and in my favour, I'm all for.
