Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I liek SlipKnot as my favorite non-goth band. I have some others but SlipKnot is prob my favorite.
BUT, whether or not you consider Rob Zombie to be goth I like him as much as SlipKnot. I feel he's kinda debatable to be goth or not so I guess he fits here.

At the moment I think it's Mr. Bungle.

Hmm, Samael for their first few 4 or so albums. Bardo Pond is another great band, but they're a pretty acquired taste.

For me, Funtastic Power! is one of my favourite bands. I don't know why but I love the whole high-energy remix thing.

Not sure about band.
How about the lovely little Miss Kevetan Melua, aka Katie Melua. She has black hair, often dresses in black and/or Gothicky appealing clothes, and sings some sad songs such as "Piece by Piece", "Faraway Voice", "It's only Pain", etc.
A non-Goth with Gothicky appeal.

Well, I love Indie so here's a sampling of what's in my Ipod in no particular order:
Art Brut
Editors
Interpol
Arctic Monkeys
Muse
Kaiser Chiefs
Lily Allen
And now for some of the old school stuff I hate to admit I love:
Paula Abdul
Phil Collins/Genesis
Roxette
Janet & Michael Jackson
Hanson (I've loved them for 12 yrs so fuck off lol)
Yes, I do realise most of them are Brits & yes, I'm an anglophile

After seeing them in L. A. in concert a few years back, I've been completely enamored! ^_____^

FEVER RAY...which is the side project of Karin Dreijer, one half of THE KNIFE made whole by brother Olof Dreijer. Both equally amazing but FEVER RAY is the newer material so I'm kinda leaning that way.
