Actually I think it's about the fourth time I've seen it. It's something about the way it's filmed, the conversations, the soundtrack, the characters, I just really like it. I have a couple of friends who like it as much as I do (the two other times I watched it was to show them). Most people I know thought it was boring or didn't get it. I can see how they might not appreciate watching an hour or so of what is basically just conversation and people hanging out though.

Just finished Blood the Last Vampire. Live action version sucked quite alot of proverbial balls. The anime was waaay better.
THX 1138 was sweet too. Love the soundtrack. It goes over almost anything in my daily life, and "If you feel that you are not properly sedated, please call 380-8484 immediately or you may be prosecuted for criminal drug evasion." love that part.

It was possibly the most disturbing movie that I have ever seen in my life...kinda makes me not ever want to have kids of my own D: Or ever eat chicken again.

"Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", wherein I discovered that Johnny Depp (as much as I love his acting) cannot sing.

The Evil Dead 2
Awe that movie brings back memories. Got the dvd with the commentary, and I finally got around to hearing it. One of the only ones I didn't mind listening to.

Was that movie any good? I've been considering going to see it, the Matinee here is only 2.75.
Though you have to sit with riff-raff, in hard plastic seats, and with sticky floors in a theater that smells like an arcade that only houses DDR players who have never heard of deodorant. But hey, it's a cheap fare so I still go for really good movies.
