I would say get a job and pay for your owne shit. Ive been working and buying my owne cloths and stuff since I was thirteen. If you pay your own way they can hardly limit you .....but i bought my own food to and helped with rent....so i was never limited... anyways my mom was open to whatever I felt like doing.
Be responsible.

He has a point. I never asked for my parents for any supposedly 'goth' clothes or piercings, I saved up and bought them with my own money. My parents wouldn't buy me excessive, expensive clothes or piercings on principle - I don't actually need them. But do avoid facial piercings and such until you get older - they look kind of stupid on young'uns anyway, and you might not like them by the time you do not have a desire to rebel. It's better to go for more permanent things such as piercings as an older person because then you will choose better and avoid unsightly scarring.

Very true, if it's their money then they'll buy what they would like themselves for you to wear. I myself work and buy all my own clothes so my mother can't bitch about what I wear because I worked for it.
