Wow. Here I thought this forum was a support group for goths. I say LARP away. If it brings you a modicum of joy in this sad world then have at it. Making fun of you LARPing, in my opinion, is no different than being made fun of for dressing like a vampire, or a cybergoth.

I wouldn't go for LARPing myself. However, I have enough geeky traits to be made a fool of. Haven't we all? Where do we draw the line on what is acceptable goth behavior and what is not. Hell, as long as you are not hurting yourself or anyone else, what does it matter what you do.

And there's a hierarchy to geekiness. As an anime fan I'm somewhat below the middle, although its gaining acceptance so maybe it'll be middle or above soon, but I'm still above LARP, which I do believe is at the bottom. I should make a chart.

Hmm, I give him a 7/10 for consistency of voice and tone, but only a 2/10 for content, as his references were heavy-handed and obvious. I believe some obscurity and nuance would add flavour to his future material. Overall, then, 4/10 with hope for improvement and acknowledgement of his potential.

Why thank you. This is only the 2nd time I've done this. Need some practice and what not. But for real this time:

I don't work as I'm still in high school. I don't LARP but I have done it for fun and it is fun....sometimes. I do however play DnD. I do drum and I have made a drum. I also act.

Texas. Near Dallas.

J.R.R. Tolkien Ranks very high on my list.

Probably doing something incredibly stupid yet completely bad ass. I haven't figured it out yet. It's probably going to involve a toaster.

I like the old school design really. The stereotypical coffin.
