Furthermore and to the point, I get laid quite often on my own thanks, regardless of the mass of my thighs.

I'd settle for being able to hug properly let alone get laid.

Well I'm finally happy with who I am now. Over the summer I've lost more weight due my killer work hours and am now at a comfortable 175 pounds, 6 feet tall. But I digress, I would be in a good mood now if it wasn't for the support provided over the months by all of you. Thank you.

If you live in a sub tropical climate you can always turn of your air conditioner for about a month. You won't want to eat anything, much less stay indoors. It worked for me after hurricane Katrina.

Hugs are nice, but I'd like to be able to look into the mirror without feeling like shit. Me, I want to look into the mirror, and be happy as fuck. I don't care about having a six pack, I want a strong, healthy body. Really, the working out for 2 hours a day thing to attain such a nice body, well, it'd be worth it.

So, I've found this little beaut on Amazon help me get exercise while I'm at work, or at my computer at home:
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...500_AA280_.jpg
It looks exactly like what I've been looking for, given the limited amount of space at our house, and the limited amount of time and energy I have when I'm at home [save on the weekends when I can actually get as much sleep as I need...which isn't often these days, since people seem to like stealing our Saturdays away from us. -_-;;; ]

Oh fuck... I think instead of aiming for 52 lbs, I'll aim for 32 lbs...less disappointment.

^^^ even though your mean to me...I just want to encourage you to not be discouraged! Losing weight is hard..but you have to take baby steps and not expect it to all be lost in a few weeks....just keep working at it...I hope for the best for you! GOOD LUCK.

This is taking place over the next 6 months... if I could lose 52 lbs in a few weeks, I'd have done it by now.

I think I reached a plateau. I haven't lost any weight this month. I have been working out a lot more. I'm not going to give up though. I just cut more calories, so I hope that helps.

Just remember to keep your body type in mind, you may have a really hard time loosing any more, if you are still unhappy with your figure you could switch your focus from weight loss to toning muscles.

For some reason it is really easy to build muscle on my body. I'm considered obese, so I still need to lose weight.

I've got this stupid gut pooch going on.
And my ass is made of cottage cheese.
And it's not like I eat too much. I only eat twice (sometimes once) a day. It's probably WHAT I'm eating that's the problem. And I don't think about switching to vegetables. I can eat and eat and eat vegetables and fruit all day long but I'm still hungry.
I need a bike.
We've got this ski machine that nobody uses. My father insists it will help. It's mind-numbingly dull. And he forgets I've got a fucked up leg.

You should try to eat more frequently, that way your body is constantly fueled and wont need to store that energy as fat.

Try something that will tone you up without building additional muscle mass, yoga would be a good place to start.

As stated earlier, the 4-5 small meals a day method is the way to go. Oh, but don't just focus too much on losing weight, work on your attitudes, as well.
