New Little Darling
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a student currently (poorly) studying my 4th year of High School (grade 10). I wish I could list hobbies I have, but truth be told, I don't really have any. I'd probably have to be one of the lifeless people I know.
2. Where are you from?
Australia. The mystical land of kangaroos and the AFL. My origins are more interesting, however, it seems for now I am stuck in this little hell-hole of a country for now, as I have been the whole of my life.
3. Who is your favorite author?
That's hard to say. I don't read nearly as much as I like, and when I do it's often just teen fiction - because when reading one book over a few months, it can be hard to keep up with more sophisticated texts - but if I had to pick a favorite I would have to go with Anne Rice. I'm currently reading The Vampire Lestat, it's very good.
4. What are your favorite films?
Queen of the Damned, Sweeney Todd, Underworld, and a few others.
I love horror and romance. Most people I know don't like horror though, so I haven't seen many horror movies, and the ones I have seen have not been all too horrific.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Emilie Autumn - O Mistress Mine
6. At your funeral?
Pink - Get This Party Started
(I'm comin' up so you better get this party started)
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
At the hands of an artistic serial killer.
If some body parts were intact, I'd be happy to donate them.
And I want to be buried.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Pitch black with silver embroidery. Possibly a glass frame on the lid, so everyone would be forced to see me - that is, if they attend my funeral.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
- A skirt with volume (preferably with pleats)
- Fishnet stockings
- Black leather boots
- A pedant style necklace with an ankh/cross
- A simple top with lace and embroidery or a corset-top
- Lace gloves
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The faith. I miss believing in things without needing some form of proof. I miss not being so cynical.
11. What's your favorite band?
That's really hard for me to answer, lately I've been exploring and expanding my musical tastes. So it's hard to settle for just one.
Theatres des Vampires, The Cure, Switchblade Symphony, Angelspit, Otep, Faith and the Muse, The Cure, etc.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm looking to major in psychology. But currently I'm studying as a High School Student.
13. Why did you join?
I'm currently looking around for an active yet alternative forum/social network. I've seen this site before, and it seems to have potential.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm an -occasionally androgynous- female.

I'm glad you like me.
Slightly disappointed that I'm not spit worthy, though. Guess I'm going to have to work a bit harder.

How awful. You read shit books, you watch shit films, your choice of death is clichéd and overwrought, lace gloves sound entirely ridiculous and your music choice seems like a haphazard mix of what is shit and what is expected. Still, everyone has to suck before they rule, so I guess you'll just have to start learning.

Where in Australia are you? I don't think the entire country is all THAT bad. There are probably far worse places you could have grown up.

@JCC: thank you, I'm glad you think so highly of me. I'm limited in my tastes, I admit, but that is also caused by what I'm exposed to.
Death at the hands of an Artistic Serial killer is cliche? Well, I've honestly never heard anyone say that before other than from myself. But if you say so.
@Crimson: Melbourne. It's not that bad, really, just incredibly boring. There are worse places.. I know. I'm fairly lucky, I suppose. But I still hate it here.

@JCC: Haha, fair enough. I never realized that, but you would know better than I.
@Ophelia: Thanks. Am I really that bad?

I will not go into my thoughts on your choice of tastes as they stray so far from what I can relate to.
I will just say welcome, and don't let the mean people get to you :P We can be like that.
I am pretty sure at least half the board hates me as well, I tend to not let it get to me and joy them with the presence of my horrible humour and bad artistic comments :P
Once again, welcome to our humble little board.

It's not so much about them getting to me. However, if I annoy them with my presence (which is why I can figure they are being 'mean'), I hardly see the point in me being here. I am far from the type of person who gets pleasure out of irritating others.
My tastes are a whole different story.. I don't believe all that many people could easily relate to them. So you are not alone in that.
Anyhow, thank you. It's nice to have someone actually provide me with some decent insight, you certainly have my respect.

How could Melbourne be considered boring?

It isn't if you're from Brisbane =P
But seriously, out in the suburbs Melbourne is the most soul-crushingly boring place I've ever been, and I've been to a lot of places. The city is alright, fun for a short visit, but nothing in comparison to the metropolises of Europe and Asia.

You need to go to Dundee. I felt like I would commit suicide if I stayed there for another few hours.

Well I shall welcome the girl based on two things:
a) Good grammar and
b) The Cure.
Welcome.

They are right.. The city is okay (if you are 18+ especially, it has great nightlife), but the Suburbs are where I live and they are horrible.

Thank you for the welcome.
I accidentally added The Cure twice in my post though, so I thought I should mention that it was completely unintended. But they are very good, one of my favorite bands. I just wish I had some more songs from them - I always get stuck listening to them via the internet, because I never think to buy an album. -.-
