I'm posing rather awkwardly because I've turned around in my chair in order to include my computer in the image. It's in black and white because I like it that way, and because I can pretend that I look better than I really do.

This is the necklace I'm wearing. There are only a few like it in the world-- my mother had several custom made in Bolivia, and gave all but this one to friends of hers. The coin is a Bolivian five peso.
