You now only work day shifts and required to wear pink overalls and a straw hat.
This Saturday, I wish I can be at two places at the same time. This way, I can attend my friend's birthday party and to the 80s rock club!

You succeed in being at both the birthday party and the 80s rock club, but at the birthday party, you forgot that the person whose birthday it is is fatally allergic to chocolate, and you bought her a box of chocolate. She died. At the 80s rock club, you get stabbed by somebody's spike- right in the eye! Ouch.
I wish last Saturday night hadn't happened. Anything else would've been better than what did happen.

Granted. You get this awesome idea for a Christmas present for your boyfriend, you're ecstatic about it. He, on the other hand, doesn't seem to like this idea of your's as much. He hates his present so incredibly much that he not only breaks up with you but also sets fire to your house, killing you and your family.
