| Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Voltaire.
Right, I'm sure he's been discussed before but I gave up looking for the thread around page five. No use reviving threads that old.
Not necessarily Goth but he's pretty big in the culture regardless.
It's a Voltaire thread, need I say more?
I've never been able to pick a favorite song of his. Have most of his albums though. Anyone know if the most recent one is any good?

Don't really like his music, didn't find his Oh My Goth comics all that funny, but there's no denying he loves the goth subculture, so he's got that going for him...which is nice.*
*please excuse my blatant ripping off of a fine Caddieshack quote

I liked him for about five minutes when I was fifteen. I feel about him the same way I feel about Roman Dirge and Johnen Vasquez... which is an agreement that I can be reasonable to someone who likes them, as long as Lenore never touches my Vertigo collection.

Oh, you haters...Lol
I'm actually quite fond of him, but moreso his writing and ego-whoring persona than his music. Whether he's serious or not, he's always amused me.
p.s. He's really a member? Come out and play, damn you!

I don't enjoy Voltaire's music, but I do find him amusing.

See, I don't even like his "personality". He's just an irritating theater kid, as far as I've seen. He's just not rock'n'roll.
