From what I can find using online conversion tables, a UK 12 would be a size 14 in Australia and a US 12 would be a size 16.

I figured as plus size, a size 12 would be larger...but looking at the article and pictures from the show, NO! maybe they chose the most vsvelte looking of the size 12's of the world, but I don't think the women looked half bad.
I do agree with what a previous person said that more diversity should be shown, not just emaciated and then plus size. There is a LOT in between that doesn't really get represented. I am not nearly a size 12, but not a 00 either, it would be nice if we normally sized average people could get some recognition.
