Miyazaki's Totoro. Completely over the moon for it.

Strella, a greek film about a transexual who meets a guy just out of prison, and their relationship. It has been to festivals around the world and is showing in France. Recommended!

The Violent Years (1956). I know it was the fifties, but its weird seeing a movie that shows how out of control our daughters can be if the mother has outside interests and the father has to work long hours, then have a judge at the end preach about how we need more religion. I think the truly weird thing about it was that it's so fucking preachy but was written by Ed Wood. I don't know what the Bible says about monster nudie films and porn, but I'm pretty sure its against cross-dressing.

Haha, the claws I wore for Halloween were a lot like the ones in The Bat. Sadly only one person I know has ever seen the film and was able to point it out.

Vampire's Kiss, with a much younger Nicholas Cage. It was strange, vicious, campy, and stupid. I liked it a lot.

The Princess And The Frog. It was actually really good, I wasn't expecting much but I was really pleased, and it really cheered me up.

Finally saw Paranormal Activity-not really what I was expecting. I thought it was just some entity haunting the house but then the girl was possesed? Interesting...
