Saw The Princess & the Frog...super cute. Ok, so I'm a sucker for Disney/Pixar animated features especially Disney's hand drawn ones. This is the 1st one that had me bobin' around in my seat that I can remember-gotta love the New Orleans sound...

I love Doctor Facilier's song, is it called Friends On The Other Side? And I thought the part where Louis gets on the steamboat and scares the shit out of everyone was hilarious, just his face after he finished his solo.
I just finished watching Beauty And The Beast, I can't find my dvd anywhere though so I had to sadly watch it on youtube.

I watched "Orchestral Seats" on Friday night, I really liked that. It was on TV.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I were putting off packing because it's shit so we spent half the day at the cinema. We saw Avatar in 3D first which was pretty cool, we'd never seen a 3D movie before. Wearing the glasses was a bit irritating but it still was great.
We saw Paranormal Activities next, we were ten minutes late for it because we didn't realise how long Avatar went for, and there were a mob of kids in there talking and laughing. A guy yelled at them about halfway through the movie but it was kind of already ruined. I thought it was pretty tame, a bit creepy.

Avatar.
It was -incredible-. I would say that this has -got- to be the best movie for visual effects of 2009. Just absolutely outstanding!

I watched Creep a few days ago. It was good, but it didn't really explain who the killer was or why he was doing it.

Yeah I thought that song was pretty cool...I also like how Disney went a bit darker for this one...

Orphan...the twist was brilliant & the girls who played Esther & Max were great...I was expecting another "bad seed/kiddie" movie & was pleasently suprised...

Don't.

Daybreakers...the look is hella dire but only just, the movie was so boring halfway thruogh when - come to find out - the office building and the subway are the only vampire settings. Well, the guy's subdivision as well, but...it was basically a short film with a very long script. And it was painfully clear what the stipulations were in each actors contract...Dafo with his lines and that chick with her nipples...no. The first 2 minutes are worth the $10.50 though.

Gran Torino.
It was great, and I'm proud of myself for not crying. I expected the ending, although it went about it in a way I thought was surprising.

It's amazing, is it not? Definately one of Eastwood's finest IMO.
I saw half of Grave of the Fireflies.
I couldn't watch more than half of it for it started to make me feel ridiculously sad.

I saw Scream for the first time a few hours ago. I remember wanting to see it when it came out but never did until now.
The entire movie was shit, aside from the very first scene (Drew Barrymore makes everything better) and the final battle at the end. The ending was awesome because I enjoyed seeing Matther Lillard getting stabbed. I fucking hate that guy.

Fanboys
Anyone who's ever totally geeked out over/fangirled over anything in entertainment can appreciate this. =D
SPOILER!!!
The rivalry between the Star Wars geeks and the Star Trek nerds is particularly amusing! XD

I recently saw Avatar in IMAX 3D, and it was the best visual movie I've ever seen.
Also, I watched The Road Warrior not too long ago, and that is really a great movie as well.

I watched yet another Greek movie last night, called Nisos (island). It's about the small community of the island, and how all the heads of the 'four powers' (the mayor, the police chief, the priest and the teacher) are corrupt. It's a really bitter comedy, but I sure laughed a lot!

The Book of Eli.
*shrugs* Gary Oldman's role wasn't as memorable as his other villainous roles such as Leon: The Professional and The Fifth Element. Still great to see him playing a bad guy though.
The Road did a better job on the whole "humanity falling apart" setting IMHO.

Good movie.
My uncle hadn't seen Dark City yet so I made him watch that. Then we watched that stupid Paranormal Behavior movie that tries to be Blair Witch and succeeds by sucking just as much as Blair Witch did.
